Director: Rev Dr Chew Tow Yow

Rev Dr Chew Tow Yow was formerly the Director of Institut Amiruddin Baki  at Genting Highland, the senior staff training institute of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. He took early retirement from government service to study theology at the Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM) and at the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, USA. From 1991 he served as a lecturer in Pastoral Studies at STM and as the ordained pastor of Faith  Methodist Church Cheras, Kuala Lumpur till 2000 when he became the resident chaplain of STM. After reaching the compulsory ecclesial retirement age of 65 years in 2001 he has continued to serve STM as an adjunct lecturer. He now teaches on spiritual formation, leadership and ministry, healing & deliverance, and undertakes individual and group silent (contemplative) retreats and spiritual direction.

Directions to Harvest Haven:

Coming from the North-South Highway, exit at the Gopeng Toll, turn right at the traffic light after the toll, then turn left at the next traffic light to Lawan Kuda. Go along the road for about 5 km and you will see the Perak Matriculation College on the hill to the right. Go another 1 km and turn right at the main entrance of the Ipoh Country Park. You will see signs to Harvest Haven from then on.
